Ipods are dangerous and bad

Turn that f*~@#ng racket down! But mum, I like it loud.

Even though teenagers know the dangers of loud music on their delicate eardrums they couldn't give a plop. A small study in the Netherlands has shown most kids listen to their Ipods and MP3’s at full blast pretty much all the time, with scant regard for their flailing health.

Ineke Vogel, leader of the Fjord findings told the Paediatrics Journal teenagers are doing themselves irreversible damage by listening to their tunes at maximum volume, because the youth of today have a ‘low personal vulnerability’. Which means they think that if something isn’t causing actual pain, then it isn’t hurting them.

How wrong could they be. According to Vogel and close pal Dr Heinn Raat, 120 decibels will sting but it only takes 90 to do lasting damage. So unless the kids start turning it down teenagers could soon be twiddling their hearing aids and muttering ‘whats that dear?’ to their grandparents. And noone would want that.

It'd blow the market out of silent Ipod raves....!
